Patrice Roberts ‘Mind My Business’ surpasses 165k streams on Spotify, holds on to No. 1 on the iTunes (Reggae) Chart in the U.S. for 3 days straight and, over a week and counting in Barbados.

Patrice Roberts Mind My Business, released just over a month ago on Dec. 20, 2021, is resonating with a wide audience which is labeling the song’s chorus “drink water and mind my business” as their motto for 2022.
The song has been on the U.S. iTunes (Reggae) charts for 4 consecutive weeks – peaking at No. 1 the first time on January 16th. Since then, the hit song has remained in the Top 2 for over a week – holding on to the No. 1 spot for 3 days straight from Jan 19-21.
With its worldwide appeal, the song has already generated well over 165,000 streams on Spotify and has hit the Charts (Apple Music, iTunes & Shazam) in 50+ countries (and counting) – peaking at No. 1 in 10. In Barbados, Mind My Business has held onto the No. 1 spot on the iTunes (Reggae) Chart since January 15th. On that same day, the song landed on the Global Shazam Chart at No. 49 and continues to move up; as of yesterday it’s at No. 27.
The official video is only 3 weeks old and already has over 1m views on YouTube. TikTok has over 8k videos attached to the sound and Instagram has generated over 17k Reels – including some from celebrities such as Michelle Williams (Destiny’s Child), Chilli (TLC), Karlie Redd (Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta) and Monie Love (UK Rapper) – these 4 ladies alone generated 1m IG views for the song.
